Pete's Dragon Movie Review

Hello again everyone. Today I am going to talk about the movie Pete's Dragon. I saw it this weekend and thought it was a sweet movie, but it had a lots of twists and turns that differ greatly from the original Pete's Dragon movie.
 Here is basically what the movie is about: After his parents are killed in a car accident, a young boy named Pete (Oakes Fegley) finds an unlikely caregiver in the form of a dragon (whom he dubs "Elliot") living in a forest in the Pacific Northwest. Years later, a forest ranger Grace discovers Pete and takes him in, but his attempts to adjust to a normal life are complicated by a man (Karl Urban) who wants to hunt down Elliot.

For years, old wood carver Mr. Meacham (Robert Redford) has delighted local children with his tales of the fierce dragon that resides deep in the woods of the Pacific Northwest. To his daughter, Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard), who works as a forest ranger, these stories are little more than tall tales…until she meets Pete (Oakes Fegley). Pete is a mysterious 10-year-old with no family and no home who claims to live in the woods with a giant, green dragon named Elliot. And from Pete’s descriptions, Elliot seems remarkably similar to the dragon from Mr. Meacham’s stories. With the help of Natalie (Oona Laurence), an 11-year-old girl whose father Jack (Wes Bentley) owns the local lumber mill, Grace sets out to determine where Pete came from, where he belongs, and the truth about this dragon.

 You'll just have to go to the movies to get the full story about Pete and his dragon Elliot.

Sea of Thieves Video Game Preview

Hello again everyone. If you love pirates then this is the video game for you. Here is basically what the video game is all about:

Scalebound Video Game Preview

Hello again everyone. Sorry again for neglecting my blog. Give me ideas if you want to see something specific on either of my blogs. Anyway, I have been watching a lot of movie and video game trailers for fun and I found the video game scalebound very intriguing not only for the plot but also the art and video game graphics. This game sadly will not come out until next year.

Xbox Review

Hello again everyone. Sorry I have neglected my blog again. I've been busy with work. Anyway, I recently bought the xbox one and it is great. The games are so realistic and the setup of the xbox is simple and easy to use. Downside is that xbox 360 games are not compatable despite what reviews say. The xbox 360 games are only digital downloads. I also do not recommend the digital downloads because it eats up your data for the internet. I about fainted when I saw that my internet bill was triple what it usually is, which was around $340 and I usually only pay $140. Also, the game didn't fully download so I had to buy it again, but this time with the disc. Please get the disc version of games people or it will lead to a lot of heartache and a gigantic hole in your wallet. Other than digital download issues I would totally recommend getting the xbox one.

Now for the games. I got Thief, Sherlock Holmes, The ABC Murders, Assasins Creed, Trasformers, etc. All these games are excellent with terrific gameplay.

The Unveiling of the Overwatch Collectors Addition Video Game

Hello again everyone. I have already preordered the overwatch collectors edition which I am so excited to get. The price of the overwatch collectors edition is pretty pricey though, but I view it as worth it. So you don't have to wonder what is inside the collectors edition here is a video of what is inside.

This looks so amazing I can barely wait. On a side note I am a graphic designer as you can tell if you have seen my other blog. I was wondering if I could get some feedback on the idea of making a overwatch adult coloring book. Since adult coloring books are so popular right now what do you guys think if  I  would create one not just for overwatch but for other things my viewers are interested in. Houdini and Doyle

Hello again everyone today I will talk about a new tv show called Houdini and Doyle. This tv show aired this past Monday and is very intriguing. It is a mystery type show where Harry Houdini is friends with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle where they are intrigued by a murder case in the newspaper and work together along with a female police officer named  Adelaide Stratton and together they go off and solve this mystery. I think after seeing the first episode that this series will catch on quickly with viewers and mystery lovers alike. This show is on Mondays at 8:00pm central time on FOX.

Character Outfits/Skins in the Game

Hello everyone. This blog post is about the outfits/skins you will see in the overwatch game. I have two youtube videos about them right here.

As you can see the detail is extraordinary and fantastic. I can't wait for this game to come out May 24th. There will be a regular game and a collectors edition. Both are quite pricey, but look like they are worth the money. Also, the beta for this game becomes available May 5th so be ready to play.

Overwatch Early Gameplay

Hello again everyone. Last time I talked about overwatch and here is some early gameplay footage from youtube.

As you can see this game has unique locations, gameplay, and a wide array of characters to choose from. I would recommend this game for ages 15 and up because of some of the content/references.
Next time I will show a few videos about a few of the characters of overwatch.

Overwatch video game

Hello everyone my name is Courtney Arnold and I am starting this new blog about everything current that pertains to movies, music, video games, etc. I also have another blog about graphic design in which you will find the link here: http://graphicdesignbycourtneyarnold.blogspot.com .
Today I will talk about the video game overwatch. It is the most exciting video game I have seen in a while that has amazing graphics and gameplay. I will have several blog posts about this video game and show trailers and youtube videos of some early gameplay. Right now though I will start with the video game trailer and a link to the overwatch footage on youtube.
